A Journey Back in Time
Your journey begins aboard the Palmetto, where you and your crew will depart near the Charleston Maritime Center. As you set sail, you’ll take a trip through time to observe Fort Sumter, Castle Pinckney, The USS Yorktown, Fort Moultrie, Morris Island, and more. Along Charleston’s famous Battery at Fort Sumter, you will see where General Beauregard ordered the first shot fired in the Civil War at Fort Sumter.
